The Gasteria verrucosa is a succulent plant with sharp triangular leaves. The succulent has a beautiful dark green color with small white spots. The name verrucosa means warty or rough, this refers to the small white spots on the succulent plant. Due to the shape of the leaves and the rough texture, this plant is also called an 'ox tongue'.
This succulent can be placed in a sunny to semi-shaded spot in the house. White or yellow leaves can mean the plant is getting too much sun.
Like most succulents, this plant does not need a lot of water. Allow the soil to dry thoroughly between waterings.
The plant is not edible.
The plant is supplied in a pot with a diameter of 13 cm.
This succulent is native to South Africa.
