The Opuntia cylindrica cristata is the cristat form of the Opuntia cylindrica. The cristat form is very compact and is also called brain cactus. The cactus has little to no thorns and can survive well at 5 degrees Celsius.
Like most other cacti, this Opuntia also likes a lot of light.
This cactus needs little water. Especially in winter, it is best not to water too often.
The cactus is not edible.
The cactus is supplied in a pot with a diameter of 13 cm.
This cactus is originally from South America.
