This succulent prefers to hang in a light spot in the house, but not in direct sunlight. If the succulent gets too much light, you will see this quickly enough, the leaves that turn yellow.
Succulents generally withstand drought well, but Portulacaria afra variegata grows best if you water it regularly. In the summer you water it once a week and in the winter it is best to wait until the leaves dry out slightly. Always make sure that no water remains in the pot. This can cause root rot.
